HCI Student | Cognitive Science & AI Graduate

Welcome! I'm Farah. This is my portfolio, a collection of my work, ideas, and passion for creating meaningful user experiences.

Welcome to my portfolio. I am Farah, a Master's student in Human-Computer Interaction at Utrecht University, building on my background in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence from Tilburg University.

My academic journey has always been driven by a curiosity about both people and technology. During my bachelor's degree, I developed a strong interest in understanding human cognition and intelligent systems. This interest eventually led me to Human-Computer Interaction, where I can explore how technology can be designed to better support the people who use it.

I am particularly interested in the intersection of artificial intelligence, human behavior, and user experience. Through my studies and projects, I have gained experience in research, problem-solving, and understanding how people interact with digital technologies.

Outside of my studies, I try to balance creative roots with daily discipline. I used to play the kanoun, a traditional Arabic string instrument; though I earned a certificate in it, the instrument is back home, so I haven't been able to practice lately. Still, it’s a part of my life I deeply appreciate. To stay grounded here, I’ve been focusing on consistency at the gym, less as a hobby and more as a simple daily discipline to stay active.

This portfolio showcases my academic journey, projects, and professional development as I continue to explore the relationship between humans and technology.
